Diameter of spark plug hole
2012 sedan 6mt
I’m looking to buy a Snap on 14mm magnetic spark plug socket, the website says it’s 19.55 OD
I’ve had a rubber gromet on the cheap sockets come off in the hole before. I got it out with a crochet hook that I borrowed from my wife. It took a while and I don’t want to do that again.
i like having the right tool.
Does it need to be a thin walled socket? Is 19.55mm thin walled?

a 14mm (9/16) spark plug socket will fit to remove a 14mm (9/16) spark plug..
a 5/8 spark plug socket will fit to remove a 5/8 spark plug.
I have never encountered a car that uses a 14mm (9/16) spark plug but my 14mm (9/16) spark plug socket would not fit.
If you didn't buy the spark plug socket yet I would recommend against buying a snap-on magnetic socket... You can buy a similar one on amazon for $16.
Snap on probably wants $50+.
