Help. Changed out my coils and spark plugs today. My 37 started fine after I reconnected battery; turned car off and tried to restart - NOTHING. Like there was no power, ran volt meter on battery have 12.4 volts, removed battery connectors and cleaned (werent’t really dirty but hey?) the car started, turned off and it wouldn’t restart again.

Any suggestions or anyone have have the same/similar issue in past??

A battery with an open between cells can show full voltage yet deliver no current. Try a different battery.

So I left the battery disconnected over night. Hooked up this morning and it has started upon several attempts.. only thing I can think of it it doesn’t start again in a few hours is that something is discharging the battery or a capacitor and not allowing proper voltage for ignition signal??? But I don’t understand enough or the power layout of the car to further diagnose...

So after leaving the battery connected and the car off for 2 hours it won’t start again. Do you think something is grounded and discharging?

Thanks. Problem seems to be fixed. When ahead and disconnected both terminals from battery then reset the EMC. Voltage seems to be staying steady between 12.25-12.40. Thinking I probably screwed up the first reset and ECU was draining battery below 12 while car was off... just a guess from what I was observing.
