Ignition coil bolt broke

Hey guys....hopefully you can answer some questions for me. While attempting to do my spark plugs the other day I snapped the bolt that secures one of the ignition coils in. Do these have to bolted down? Any ideas on how to secure it without changing the valve cover?

Thank you guys for any help!!

Absolutely it had to be bolted in securely. Remove the broken bolt and replace it. And use the correct torque specs, its crazy that you used enough force to break a bolt.

It broke taking it off, not securing it on. So far it hasn't been an issue with it not being bolted on. Want to make sure it would be good temporarily until I can get it fixed.
