Exclamation Please Help - Transfer Case Flush

Hey guys I need to clear up this question HOW MUCH FLUID does the a transfer case take on a 2010 G37x Sedan? I have searched and searched and came up with a old post that suggest 2.2 pints or 2 quartz but not sure if the g37x sedan is different? i called infiniti dealer here in NY they don't sound confident in their answer but they suggested 5 quarts!?

here the old post i found:

When I did mine it took just over 1 quart so you will want to buy 2. I went with Amsoil.

Aren't all fluid capacities listed in the owner's manual?

I thought they would but for the transfer case it's not there.

In the Maintenance section (MA-13) of the factory shop manual, it list the capacity of transfer case as: 2-1/8 pt or 1 litre.

It also says ''Using transfer fluid other than Genuine NISSAN Matic J ATF will cause deterioration in driveability and transfer durability, and may damage the transfer, which is not covered by the INFINITI new vehicle limited warranty."

Since I don't have a transfer case, I don't know how important it is to use Nissan Matic J ATF.
