Horn Relay Removal 2012 G37X
I couldn't find any threads on this so Im assuming no ones ever had this issue because it's simple.
I hate asking stupid questions like this as it seemed it was easy as pie to pull out the horn relay and put the new one in. I tried pulling that bastard out and it wont come out, I ended up breaking the relay casing. Is there a tab or something that I'm missing? Or do I need to grip that ****er and pull harder lol?

Since the horn is considered a safety feature I'm almost positive there is some sort of lock on the relay's case which keeps it firmly in place. Like on all of the wiring harness connectors. If you have the replacement relay, look closely at it and figure out where to press or pry to release the lock.
The FSM seems to show two horn relays for the 2012 sedan. One might be for the security "beep" but I can't figure out where that one is. You're talking about the one on the Fusible Link, right?

The relay is located in the fuse box by the battery under the hood, passenger side. It's all good now, I got it out. You just have to reef on it (been in there for over 5 years), pulling straight up with pliers. There's most likely a relay removal tool that would make it easier to pull it out without having to apply so much pressure and potentially breaking the casing but you make due with what you have.
