That looks like it would work. At $2 it is practically nothing. The nissan part is plastic and $9. I don't why they didn't use a longer hose. The use of a plastic coupler instead of metal or just a one piece pipe is so disappointing from a Japanese car company.

Typo? Coolant runs hotter than 200F.

Not mine. If the brass one is rated at 200F, the factory one is rated at 30F

I don't know. I'm sure stock one is some kind of high temp plastic, similar material to what radiator tanks are made from. Still, weird to see such a low temp spec on a metal part. What happens at 201F.......
