My g37s coupe
My 08 g37s have starting problem. I every time when Im low on gas, when it say 20miles to empty, my car take me so many time to start , I just keep pressing the button and nothing work, when I press start, the button say it’s ok but engine doesn’t start , nothing crank, I try to tap gas paddle so many time and it won’t start , when I’m full of gas , it’s not the problem it start just fine- what could be wrong????
First, welcome to the site.
Never press the gas pedal before starting an EFI car unless specifically told to do so in the owner's manual. It is mostly likely a non-issue with drive-by-wire but older systems would easily flood the engine with fuel.
If the starter doesn't spin when you have low fuel level (and 20 miles is a lie, you have probably 2 gallons in the tank), then you have an electrical problem of some sort. Yours is the first case I've heard of so I can't be of help.

Thank you for reply to my post
it will start but it take so many time , I have to press the start button and turn off do that like 9 or 10 times then it would start, I have a leak when it’s raining , I see water in my driver floor mat, but when I tried to pour into the sunroof water tube, there’s no leak and water went straight to my wheel, ohhh just found out it still won’t start when I have full tank of gas .

Once the car start and when I drive it for a bit, when I shut it off it and start it back up , it will start right away but if I let the car sit for more than an hour it won’t start
