G37S Coupe springs on G37S Sedan?
G37S Coupe springs on G37S Sedan?
Hey Guys & Gals,
I recently purchased a Black G37S Sedan 6MT, and I am thinking about dropping it about 1" in front and 0.5" in back.
I know that with G35s, people have dropped their sedan with Z350 Springs in front and G35S Coupe Springs in the rear.
I have tried search function to see if same applies for G37 Sedan and Coupe springs... but I haven't found any information.
Has anyone done a swap with G37S Coupe springs to G37S Sedan?
Also, if I do swap it out to Coupe springs, will I need to worry about struts? And what about camber? Will I be in spec with just an alignment, or will I be out of spec in camber due to drop? Or will I even acheive any sort of drop from G37S Sedan springs to G37S Coupe springs?
Thanks for your help!
Damien

Welcome to the forum Damien.
Tanabe makes lowering springs for the Sedan. They are part# TNF130, they are the same part # as the coupe springs but drop a little bit less. They drop the sedan 1" in front and 1.3" rear. With almost any drop you'll have rear camber issues and your struts will wear a little faster but not that much from a mild drop. I have a set of OEM Coupe springs if you want to buy them at a reasonable price and try them out. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks Black Betty! I already have a set of G37S Coupe Springs. I just haven't had the chance to put them on, and I wanted to see if anyone had put on Coupe springs on the Sedan.
It's been a long time since I driven sporty cars (just traded in a Land Rover Discovery), so I don't want lower my car very much. I also have the aero-kit on my sedan, so I am afraid that I will end up breaking the front lip, if I drop the car too much.
Does anybody have specifications on G37S Coupe Springs and G37S Sedan Springs? Like what their spring rate is, and how tall they are?
Thanks!
