What are you guys seeing for clutch life?
I'm considering buying a 2008 6mt coupe with 124k miles. It had the clutch replaced at 58k which suggest it's due again.
The car is at the dealer that serviced it and said everything checks out ok for now. I'm going to test drive it Saturday. Any tips on inspecting the drivetrain. I've been reading and searching here for awhile now and learning alot. I'll bring my code reader and pull the codes also.

It really all depends on the driver. My stock clutch out lived the concentric slave. I'm at 96k and decided to throw a new clutch in since my slave was going out. Still had life left in the disk and probably could have gotten a other year or so out of it. but gotta take the tranny off to do the slave so might as well do the clutch too lol.
I'm thinking I will replace the clutch and hydraulics this winter regardless. That should reduce the chances of me having any surprise failures next summer and needing a clutch asap. I may watch out for black Friday deals.
Now the problem is there are so many clutch and flywheel options. Do I want a HD csc or external csc? I was really confused by the term Csc delete I kept seeing on the forums because it doesnt make sense. They should call it cdc relocation or something.
Can a sprung clutch and solid flywheel be nearly as quiet as stock or do I have to keep the dual mass flywheel to have a stock like quiet car.
I wont be adding any power to this car. I just want a durable setup that will stand up to occasional track use and daily driving.
