2013 G37x 7AT
Hey Guys, Brooklyn Debonaire here, so i just bought my SECOND g37x sedan 7AT last month (Aug 24,18) with 60087 miles on her. fast forward to now, im driving from work, and under normal driving (1k-2500k rmp) shes fine, but i try to accelerate and boom, she does go anywhere anymore. She wasnt going past 60MPH but the RPMs were at 7k (we know this isnt adding up) The problem JUST started today. So what do you guys recommend? Most likely its a tranny issue. But see the attached video (if it helps). Could a transmission drain and refill be the solution? bad tranny? Need a new tranny? HELP HELP HELPPPPP
Well from experiencing an issue with programing with Transmission, I can tell you as long as your under 65k infiniti will cover it. I had to have some new coding set into my G37x (2013) 2 times as 2 new updates came thru. But I never experienced what you did, I just experienced a check engine light & down shifts where abrupt.
Good luck.

The 1st update came out beginning of year march/april time frame. This last update came out beginning of summer. Its a quick thing. I made an appointment & had my car back in my driveway in under 3 hrs. As long as you get it in before 65k they will cover the updates free of charge. I heard after 65k its $95 to have them look at it & apply the update. But I'm sure with some good conversation it can be discounted.
