I am new on here so hello everyone! I just bought a 2013 G37S 6 Speed (4 door) and drives like a dream. However as soon as I got on it hard the check engine light came on. The code p2096 was given which I found out involved the air to fuel ratio being lean. This does not exactly narrow it down since i feel like this could be anything from a filter to 02 sensors. Anyone ever have this problem and how do you fix it???

help! I have the same issue, a 2013 Infiniti G37 journey, P2096 bank 1. Where do I even start for this? It happened while I was on DS automatic, I wasn’t speeding per say but I was being hard on it and then it popped up.

 

Start by googling the code. You'll get an idea what the code means.

 

I just through the same code 2x this week. I have cold air intake, throttle body spacers, stillen catback and kinetix high flow cats. I am fairly certain it is the high flow cats. I installed them about a month ago and the code popped up the first time about 500 miles after install.
