So as some of y'all saw my post before about my car lagging n I thought it was my clutch my service engine soon light came on soon after that. Multiple missfires code P0300 wtf just what I needed. Haven't had much time to look deep into it but if anyone has had a similar issue any help would def help out. Oh n happy New Years to everyone !

Have your oil pressure checked. P0300 is one of the symptoms of the dreaded oil galley gasket leak. If it's very low, that's likely your problem. I hope it's something else because that issue is difficult to fix yourself and expensive to have repaired. Good luck.

As a side note, a P0300 code can often be remedied with spark plug replacements. Probably worth trying quick before you dive into the suggestion above. Pretty inexpensive and certainly worth doing if plugs have not been replaced in the past 50k.

Is P0300 the ONLY code? No running lean?

I would start diagnosing elsewhere if P0300 is his only code. Vacuum leaks, fuel pressure, filter, pump. I wouldn't just start replacing plugs just yet. Bad gas?

Usually a bad plug would indicate a cylinder (P0301-P0306) in addition to the P0300.

P0300 is the only code. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow

On that note, I also have the po300 code along with a C1109 code which is associated with battery voltage. I cleared the light and it has stayed off. I'll keep monitoring it.

The light came back on. Now I have additional codes of PO524 low oil pressure, and PO021 camshaft position bank 2 timing over advanced. Looks like I'm in for an expensive week.
