Jolt when shifting into Reverse
So my 07 G35 with the 5AT started hard shifting into reverse in the mornings.. only does it when cold.
I recently hit 105k, and I've heard this is fairly normal behavior, but it never happened before 2018. I also have a bit more driveline vibration at stoplights; almost feels like I've been tapped from the rear on rare instances.
Has anyone ever had to replace their motor mounts in the G? Or does anyone else experience this?

Yeah, that's what I thought.
I just think 100k is not that much mileage for a motor mount to go out - my family's old MDX which was known to have weak motor mounts made it to around 12yrs/90k before we had to replace them.

post up a DIY or any tips pics of how you get it done if you end up changing them, I have had a replacement set sitting in my garage since at least last year and they are finally next on my to-do list for my 07x...I have been collecting bits and pieces here and there but opinions vary wildly on whats involved...I read a post saying its a 20 minute job 20 but some say you need to remove a cross brace and its several hours lol
