That sounds expensive. What does that include in full?

Hopefully amonoshin is going for the upcoming ACE kit.

I am currently budgeted at $10K for the ACE kit, that is DIY with the "basic" fueling upgrades. I'm trying to leave a few thou on the side in case something goes wrong.

I’m also waiting for Aaron to release his ACE kit. He told me it should be around spring. OP, are you still selling your 1050x injectors? I’ll need some when I boost.

Key takeaways:
Utilizes OEM manifold. The Stillen manifold was always a P.I.T.A. to deal with. Relocating the dual TBs and the bolts under the manifold have been the cause of many headaches on the kit.
Looks skookum AF with the dual charge pipes!
The ACE kit also will be including a cast elbow adapter to, finally, properly mount a cone filter. Up until now, any variant of the Stillen kit had really crappy air filter compromises.
Of course, even better efficiency over the original Topgunz kit, which was MUCH better than the Stillen kit to begin with.

Yea but don’t ask me in winter. With RWD and cold pavement, I can’t quickly get up speed to move quickly into a faster lane/merge since all my tires do is spin.

this ace kit is news to me—i’ll have to see if theres anything in it I could benefit from. Would be nice to someday be able to remove filter without having to remove serpentine and blower. oh, and i have had sporadic issues with my MAF extension harness going bad from time to time. Right now I have it ziptied away from touching anything metal, and keep MAF clean. ACE kit sounds awesome

sorry I haven’t been getting notifications about this thread. Also I don’t remember saying im selling my 1050s. Maybe it was a possibility but I think they’ll handle extra boost fine if i run a blowerguard

Denver. So our winter temps are generally warm enough and snow melts quickly that I can kinda daily this thru the winter within reason, but it doesn’t take many degrees below 70 before traction becomes an issue. And below freezing, agh... and this is on dry pavement. I’m sure I could get better tires to hook, but I want to get more into drifting and trackdays where I can’t afford spending big money on tires I will burn through

safe driving mate

How much HP/ Tq are you putting to the ground right now?

What tires are you running?

475whp something wasn’t right electronically to get a torque reading. The elevation and and riching out at top end was probably the reason for those numbers (i suspect belt slip caused it to run rich). i picked up a pound of boost from last dyno run from cleaning up the filter but the belt slip took away the improvement.
so with the elevation air density i’m totally fine running no filter on 1050s. I would like a twin pump tho just for peace of mind always running the pumps hard with e85

Topgunz will also be offering an ACE upgrade.

I specifically bought an AWD car that could be boosted because I had a tuned GTI, and traction was always an issue. I swore I'd never own a 2WD (well, especially FWD) performance car again! And it rains here a lot, too!

475 Whp was with air to air and all that work? Was that with E85?

think once you fix the belt slip you should be in the 550 range or so.

yea, thought dyno’s are corrected for elevation but I’m also skeptical. If I take off the filter (which i want to do since i don’t daily the car at all) will by far make the biggest difference
