Engine light on

hey guys my 2011 g37 battery died at work. i had to get the car jump started. After the car was jump started the passenger airbag light came on in the car. Its throwing a B 1015 code -passenger deploy. loop resistance high

i pulled the code with a snap on scanner and was un able to clear it. Did i fry the air bag control module? is this something only the dealer can fix?

Before you get too concerned, I would try the reset method. Worked on mine like a charm:

Engine light on

Good to be back to catch up with new posts. Not sure if there is already a thread on this topic. Got a 2012 G37 4D AWD. After work today, car would not start. 1st time this happened. Tried unsuccessfully several times. after one hour or less, it started and the engine light came on. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Need to have the code read and defined, most auto parts stores will do it for free. If you can get it started again, take it to O'Reillys, Pep Boys, etc and have that code pulled.
Hopefully it's something relatively simple.

Here's the code ETC FNCTN/CIRC-B2
Infiniti dealer says must do, now or risk car dies or stall any time, not driveable
cost $1,100+ Thoughts? Thanks.

Might check a Nissan dealer and see what they quote.

Does that code have anything to do with the electric throttle control? 2012 g37x expected to have this problem at 60,000+ miles? Appreciate your feedback.

Not expected ever yet it happens. Another member is getting this same issue on his 2009 G.

Thanks for the link. Scrolling through I can see why it would cost over 1k :-(
I can only trust the Infiniti technician. g37 has now become an asset that should not depreciate. lol

All assets depreciate. Some, if you're lucky, have negative depreciation. A G37 will likely never have that problem.
