Service Engine Light after installing Sub and Amp

Hey guys - I just got done installing a new sub and amp into my 09. I followed the tutorial over on G35Driver which worked perfectly: How To Install A Sub In A G sedan Using Stock Bose System - Page 18 - G35Driver

However, as soon as I got everything hooked up and working I noticed when I went for a drive that my Service Engine Soon light is now on and it wasn't before. I also noticed that my auto windows go down but don't go up automatically anymore.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Maybe a fuse or something that I blew? I don't have much knowledge when it comes to the electrical system of a car so I don't know what could be the issue.

Here is my setup in case it helps any:
Bose Premium Package
Alpine 10" Type S
JBL GTX500 Mono Amp
Not sure on the brand but a LOC that I picked up from BestBuy

I don't have a scanner to check the code that it's putting out but if it's needed I'll run by O'Reilly and have them print off what codes they get when they scan it.

UPDATE: I was able to get the auto-up function on my windows working again by just doing a reset on them. Still have the Service Engine Soon light though.

Go have it scanned, anything else is just speculation currently.

Went and had it scanned. Most likely just a loose terminal connection on my battery when I hooked it all back up I probably didn't tighten it down enough.

The code was P0603 - Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory Error

Possible causes:
- Loose or poor battery terminal connection
- Low battery charge
- ECM power supply circuit is open or shorted
- ECM Programing - Faulty ECM

Did you have them clear the code? Go over all your connections and hopefully it doesn't come back,

They said they "technically" couldn't clear it for me. But if I come back he'll tell me what buttons to push to clear it lol.

Just tightened everything so I'll see tomorrow if it clears or not. If not then I'll go back to them and have them clear it and see if it comes back on or not.

It won't clear on its own. You'll need to have them clear it or clear it yourself, there's a DIY somewhere on here but I don't remember where for clearing it yourself.

Oh okay, thanks for the info. I'll take a look around the forum and see if I can find the DIY thread.

Check the connection on the ECM. I just got my car back from the dealer with the same errors and I was freaking out. They re-attached the main cable to the ECU and they clear the codes and that was it.

Thankfully I believe it was just the loose battery terminals. I tightened down both of them and then cleared the light and it hasn't come back yet. Thanks for the suggestion though!
