I do a simple gravity bleed followed a traditional bleed. The gravity bleed gets rid of the fluid in the line itself. The traditional bleed refreshes the little bit of fluid remaining in the slave.

To do the gravity bleed just open the bleeder nipple. Make sure the reservoir does NOT go dry. Two to three refills of the reservoir should be sufficient. For the traditional, I do about 3-4x where the pedal is pumped slowly several times then I open the bleeder screw. Top off the reservoir and you're done.
