Buy gas at a high turn over gas station. There's a costco within a mile and half of here. According to the attendant they get upwards of 3 refill trucks a day. Talk about volume!
I’m glad that’s the only issue but now i have to worry about the quality of the gas wtf gas is already expensive as it is. Oil pressure is fine, all the fluids are good too. Now I have to find reliable gas station in my area
I too have a 2013 G37x with 38K. On my way home today I was accelerating from a stop as I began going over 20-30 mph.... I was pushing the pedal closer to floor to accelerate but my car wouldn't accelerate. The RPM gauge went up slightly but not much, after several seconds, it started to accelerate at a quick rate. Almost as if it needed to catch up. Very odd. No dash lights. I reset the ECU and drove a few hours later...nothing odd occurred.
I found this threat in a Google search. I know this is an old thread but I feel my situation may help others. It's my sons car and I am troubleshooting it before it's given to my grandson. 2009 G37XS, was bought used from a Nissan dealer with 97,000 miles. It now has 156,000 miles. Last winter 2023/24 it would go into limp mode and my son did nothing except turned the ignition off and back on, then drive it until it again went into limp mode. Warm weather it ran fine. I pulled the trouble codes and P010B MAF "B" circuit showed.
I pulled the drivers side air filter and it was a non-OEM white one and somewhat dirty but left it in. I swapped the MAF sensors left to right and right to left to see if it would repeat with a different code. Again it went into limp mode and the same code was thrown. I pulled the passenger air filter and it was a red Nissan brand and very black/dirty. Two new air filters and it is running fine. Why would someone change only one air filter? How old were the filters? The moral of this story is limp mode can be triggered by clogged air filters.

Possible fix!
Last night my car start acting weird, driving back from work going about 70 mph on highway and out of nowhere the car start to slowing down to about 30-40 mph and 2000-2500 rpm and won’t go above it. I read few threads on here but all are involved earlier models. Anyone had this issue with 2013 and above? I have tanaba intake, stillen ground kit and brand new red optimum batterie. There is no lights on the dashboard. The car is at the dealership now, has extended warranty and 57k. Just trying to prepare myself in case the dealer try to rip me off. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
I have a 2012 G37xs that started being weird today. It was fine most of the day, then I started it this evening and it had no power. It does 0-60 in about a minute.
I also noticed that it now starts without having to press the brake pedal. For a while the rear lights were dimly lit when it was off, but I got that to stop by stomping on the brake pedal. I don't know if it's a factor, but we had an epic amount of rain today.
I'll stop by the dealer tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone here had any idea what might be going on. Thanks.
