Guys, there was a thread within the past month or so about this rubber bushing on the drive shaft. What was the outcome of trying to replace it?

As far as I know that rubber piece (Guibo) is not available separately from any source. Best options AFAIK is an aftermarket shaft which may be about the price of a new one or a used one from a wrecker

Another option was to search the Part Out threads and see it the seller is willing to get it and ship it. Not sure if the part is different for Coupes, Sedan, autos, 6mt, etc.

Sedan and coupe RWD drive shafts are different lengths so the OP will have to watch for that difference.

Heard that a coupling from a supra model fits here. Somewhere on the forum there is a thread confirming it. $200+ for the part alone though...

Here is a link to that thread: Toyota "Guibo" Rubber Coupling
I do not know if anyone has independently verified that it will work.
