Hi guys,

I have a 09' G37x and on my way home to work i tried speeding up in traffic and it jerked at 3500 rpms and while at a red light i put the car in neutral to rev it and same thing happened again but when I accelerate fairly slowly it will go over 3500 rpms but if i do it quickly it wont go over. No light comes on the dash either.

 

Sounds like your vehicle has gone into a "limp" mode. Usually it's a sensor ..like the MAF (Mass Air Flow)
