well at least the problem is consistent. That photo is exactly like my coupe and it happened within days

 

You would think Infiniti would design a serviceable repair. Ford does the same on the 04 thru 09 F-150 upper control arms and the 2 wheel drive front rotors. until just recently if you needed rotors they came with wheel bearings, upper control arm had to be replaced with ball joints.

Mine has recently blown. Will be getting it fixed at some point.

 

Not good for the drivetrain and driveshaft as the slop under load could wear the U joints faster

 

SOHO did mine for $500, IIRC, including the bushing.

 

Yeah, I was just there and Matt told me the same. I am definitely not going to attempt it myself!

 

I'm a big DIY guy, but for $400 in labor? Considering I'd be doing this myself, in the garage, with hand tools, it would take me the whole day. $400 for labor is a deal!

 

I agree completely. If I have the tools, I generally DIY... with the exception of suspension components.

 

i recently had mine replaced with whiteline, huge difference.

 

Seems like most people here use Whiteline or Z1 bushings. Any reason to get one over the other?
