Exclamation Help!

Hey Team!

What's this part called?

Was cleaning my throttle bodies everything went fine with the passenger side. I discovered that the last owner of the car who did the CAI Install broke the hose for this part and it's literally hanging on its life.

Thanks In advance!

You can safely remove it and just use a straight hose. The consensus is that it's a resonance chamber that cuts down intake noise.

Thanks for the reply! So I don't necessary need that rectangle thing? I can just bypass and use a hose to connect to the valve covers? would it mess with the ECU removing that rectangle thing and just using a straight hose?

Correct you don't need it, and your car (ECU) won't even know it's gone.

You can just cap it with a plastic lid and electrical tape or epoxy
