OP - I'm NA with Takeda CAI. I'll share that I considered purchasing the product. I didn't because any smooth air created by the venturi would be disrupted by the MAF sensors and the butterfly on the throttle body. For me, little to no gain for the money.

Correct these are on the throttle body versus on the intake.

Just found this.

I know they are different my point is these have dyno numbers...The point I'm trying to make is everybody always says there's little to no gains in every mode..Unless you've had these on your car and run dyno numbers you have absolutely no idea if they make power not..
Just like the Shorty headers everybody said they made zero to little power. I made 16whp with Shorty headers

Thanks Chuckie311 you took the words out of my mouth. Only way it's going to be proven or not. I plan on doing it soon once I decide when I'm getting tuned.
I think the price for amount of claimed HP is nothing outside the G37 norm comparing $1500-$2000 exhaust systems get what around 10-15 hp(?) gains maybe more with a tune.

I think the problem with dynos and just posting numbers is that you don't know all the conditions. I could dyno my car in 85 degree weather, fart on the inside, and then dyno when it is 55 outside and tell people my gas adds X HP (this is assuming you are not automatically adjusting for temperature and humidity on the dyno readings). The main problem is, you don't know if they are adding these mods, tuning, then dynoing again. Not only that, I imagine the 3 WHP gain from these easily falls within the difference of dyno runs. Say I make 5 runs baseline, take the worst one, then run 5 modded runs and take the best, I can make anything look good.

Not saying that P2M velocity stacks don't add power. Maybe they took an average of baseline runs, and an average of modified runs without changing tuning or other parameters and adjusted for atmospheric conditions and you really gain the power. Just saying it is kinda pointless everyone arguing over it.

I understand your point.

However I'm going to trust a dyno more than a guy saying "snake oil".

Thanks for the input Waste86! Just doing my small part in reaching out to the G community to try and better it with mods that people may be interested in, and whether or not they are worth doing.

I understand! In the end, people should just do what they want

I'd rather port my manifolds instead of buying that product.
