G37 6mt clutch replacement advice

I have a 08 g37s and gradually I'm getting clutch drag from 6th down now finally working way to 1st. I read so much possibilities and what to replace and what I should replace while trans is down. I'm on a budget build. I heard that with my current mods a stage 2 would do with a lightened fly wheel. That I might as well replace the master and slave cylinder too. It's weird that it started slipping from 6 to 5 to 4 eventually now to 1 IS it my clutch? Maybe it's just the slave? Wishful thinking.. 😕

It rides fine if I'm just cruising regular example if it's in gear and cruising and I press the gas a little harder to gain speed instead up picking up speed it's dragging. Like the clutch isn't fully disengaged. The rpm is going up but its slipping

So when you give it more throttle in gear, instead of accelerating, engine rpms go up but vehicle speed doesn't increase in proportion?

If that's what you're trying to say then yes, sounds like a worn clutch. New slave is required when dropping trans, might as well replace the master too to save future headaches.

In fact, there's a few other options besides the cylindrical slave. One uses a traditional fork arrangement. Probably best to go that route to prevent having to drop the trans again if the slave fails.

Smh. Do I need to change the fly wheel too? What's the price range I'm looking at here? Currently have Dc headers, test pipes, ark catback, takeda intake, and uprev tune. Assuming stage 2?

Probably. Figure $1000+ for parts and labor depending what you go with. Contact some of the vendors on the site to get more info.

I replaced my clutch with Exedy OEM single-mass flywheel. It's a lot stiffer than OEM and it sounds like a cement truck outside my car. Aside from that, no issues so far and it was cheaper than true OEM replacement. The cement truck noises are kind of annoying though, lol

Currently facing a 1000+ mile cross country drive with a slipping clutch. I have spoken with a few shops, including Infiniti dealership and received quotes from 650$-2500$..

My car is '11 G37S Coupe with 70k miles.. looking for advice on what I should do:
OEM/Aftermarket
Any additional repairs - CSC, HSC, Rear Main Seal, Transmission Input Shaft Seal

Clutch slippage starts at 6th gear to 5th to 4th and so on because it's a bigger load on the engine to move the car as you shift higher, that's why you increase your speed to compensate. If you try to move the car from a stop in 6th gear, it will stall. If you test drive a g37 or any manual car for that matter, you need to test the clutch by getting it up to speed (at least 40 mph) then WOT/flooring it briefly in 5th or 6th, the RPM SHOULD NOT INCREASE drastically, if it does the clutch is slipping off the flywheel. It will not be noticeable in 1st gear, 2nd, 3rd etc because it's not much of a load, until of course you keep driving it and it eventually makes it way down to the lower gears.

I only say this because I made the mistake of buying a G37 with a slipping clutch after a friend test drove the car because I didn't know how to drive manual at the time.
