Shift *****?

I currently have a Torque Solution delrin shift **** that works great with the heat we have here in the summer as well as the extreme cold in the winter, but I am thinking of getting something that looks a little nicer. Here is what it currently looks like:

I like the Sparco Globe, but the top is metal and that will get hot as hell and burn my hand in the summer.

I also like the Momo Sphere, but I believe that is metal on the top as well and discontinued.

The new Momo shift ***** like the Gotham or GTR2 are ok, but maybe a little too race car-ish for this interior. So now that you know the shape, style, and lack of metal that I like, please let me know if you have some other suggestions. Thanks!

Here's a thought: have two different *****, one for winter, and one for Summer. And since you've already got your winter **** in hand (no pun)...

I have a TWM Spooky Hybrid. Pic is in my build thread. it doesn't change temps and comes in multiple colors (I think, mine is white) it's really heavy and feels amazing. fairly boring looks wise and expensive but the shifting feel is incredible. won't get hot or cold.

I had a Momo Sphere on my '02 WRX and really liked it so I think it was a plastic top, but not 100% sure. Part of me wants to get something different, but also they do not make them anymore so it would have to be used.

I would rather just have one **** I can use year round, especially since heat and cold are both an issue here. Plus I have not been a member of this site nearly as long as you so I would probably get banned if I tried to rock two shift ***** like you.

I like the TWM ****, but probably because it is so similar to what I have now. I was thinking of something with a little more style or leather attached.

We could start a club. You can be President.

Then we could branch out into the vast single digits of members who drive around with a urethane transmission mount.

But that's 5 seconds better spent typing on important forums like this helping to make the world a better place. Usually aftermarket ***** use set screws the mess up your threads for going back to a screw on type shift ****. But I would much rather have one cool shift **** I can rock all year instead of just the spring and fall.

Ok who wants to join the Tranny Mount club? No wait, that came out wrong...

It's a little tall and I could do without another shift pattern, but I think you are on the right path. I'll see if they make any decent Nismo ones that are not too gaudy. Good idea.

Does anyone have the TWM Phantom glossy shift ****? I know it is hella expensive, but I was wondering what difference you notice with the shifting since it is weighted and also if it is tough to keep clean.

IracknBack- I think your shift **** is just a different color. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you noticed different with the shifting. Also how do you adjust the height? I think I would need to bring mine up a bit as my B&M shift kit sits lower and even with the taller teardrop shaped shift **** I have now, I still had to modify it to bring it up a bit in height.
