You learn to make compromises on the little stuff. But dual shift patterns? No way.

I switched gears and just ordered the Raceseng Sphereology shift **** with the shift pattern on top after figuring out how to remove the shift pattern. Thanks for the suggestion Rochester!

Wow, that is beautiful. What's the weight? or was that spec listed?

If I could find an even heavier **** I'd consider it but I'd never go lighter. the Spooky is 275grams. (6/10ths of a pound.)

but I love the top of that one. for the trim, you can always sand, paint it right?

It is pretty heavy at 470 grams (just over a pound). I got some airplane stripper and figured out how to remove the factory shift pattern so I did not need to have a custom shift **** with the Raceseng logo on top. I have been in the process of removing all the clear coat and now the trim ring is just really shiny matching the trim for the clock or heated seat *****.

After the 3rd attempt, 90% of the clearcoat is removed and I polished the bottom half to see what it would look like

I'd post this in the 'chat' and 'what did you do to your sedan today' threads as well. Just to troll Rochester

I made sure not to double post the exact same stuff so you wouldn't have a heart attack. I was wondering how long it would take you to bitch about it. Annnd here's the answer. And WTF does going to look at a Jaguar have to do with your build thread?

I also posted in the wheel and tire, suspension, classifieds, and now starting to post up in the coupe forums.

It provides context for the kind of car we probably wish our G were more like, as something to aspire to when modding, but really can't match.

Meh. So much love.

I don't think I will ever aspire to have my G37S be anything like a Jaguar, but to each his own.

The shift **** should be here any day now.

Over a pound? Wow. That's tempting. I bet it feels great between in the hands.
