Assuming somewhere in the neighbourhood of $10k I imagine? Personally if I was putting that much money into a car, I'd probably put it towards a newer car instead, perhaps to something with power levels like that stock and not having to worry about reliability and such.

I supercharged my 350z at 74K 11psi/426hp/350tq and it ran perfectly until my neighbor rear ended it in front of my house with 184k on it. boost it !

stock internals. I don't know very much about these cars yet but the vq35de was pretty bulletproof around 400hp / 340tq. I beat the **** out of that car every day and never had an issue aside from a valve cover leak and wheel bearings.

From what I've read, I wouldn't consider building the motor on one of these cars unless i was shooting for 550+ hp

^^^Exactly.


Just get a very good tune and you'll have nothing to worry about under 500hp.
