I know I’m adding this literally in 2024 but i had a friend who recently just had same issue was just faulty spark plugs causing a misfire and sending the car shaking and into limp mode. Just get plugs and coils and it’ll run smooth as butter

Hey so sorry to revive this again but I bought an automatic 2009 G37x the other day the guy told me the car was misfiring when i scanned it it was misfiring he said it was cuz of a bad 02 sensor that he replaced but it wasnt oem so it idnt work i graduated last year from hs im close with the auto shop teacher hes helping me fix it cuz idk what im doing when he used his high tech scanner it said 1 3 5 were misfiring after we replaced it it wasnt saying it was misfiring so he cleared the code the engine light is gone hasnt come back and i have driven it a bit now but not too much and today i found out it is in limp mode and it doesnt pass 90 kmh does anyone know what it could be?
