not lookin to start a debate here.. just wonderin since im still tryin to see what path to go.. NA or FI..

after I get the headers I am done..
I couldn't see going FI as a Stillen supercharger I just don't like..
but if you break down the cost of going FI your looking at 15k +plus if your auto as the transmission will be the first thing to go..twin turbo is they only way I would go

ive owned close to a dozen cars that were turbocharged.. single and twin..
points of failure seems higher than that of a supercharger... lookin to try something different..
but would be lyin if i said i wasn't oogling over the aam turbo kit.. im 6mt btw..
good luck with the install.. perhaps good numbers from your setup might swing me back to the NA thought...

Not unless theres a play on words but his is right from their sight,

however they can be used on 07+ VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines with the use of Stock DE Catalytic Converters, Z1 High Flow Cats, Z1 Test Pipes, or the Cat Delete Y-Pipe

An I have Z1 HFC's or are they say Z1 cats for a DE , Yea called , I'm out I'm not swapping cats again .

With all the Z1 stuff you have, you should contact them and see if they would send you their Z1 CAI to get dyne results.

i'm not sure if Z1 has their own CAI..ill have to look when their site is back online..but I would stick with the Stillen CAI.
I need to head to the track this winter and get some 1/4 mile times..
as of yesterday my dyno numbers have totally changed since im running with the 4.08 gears now..

Wait, your dyno numbers changed with just the 4.08s?

I wonder if FI would make a flange that would connect with the z1 headers... I'm trying to stay away from any rasp and not try and make the car TOO TOO loud under normal driving... Keep in mind I have a GTHaus exhaust lol so I'm pretty set on RHFCs instead of any other hfc

Yes they did..while I was down getting my rom dumped to move over to ECUTEK i had a dyno done. New dyno number are 301whp and 249tq.
but trust me the car is way faster with these gears..
I asked my tuner and he said that the load changes with the gears..
Look at my new thread new dyno..

so here's a vid of a G37s pushing 347whp 285wtq with z1 headers paired with art pipes and tomei single exit exhaust.

z1 looks like they're winning.

my dyno numbers have changed since I did the 4.08 gears glad I did some test pulls this weekend and found that out..i'm going to get some 1/4 mile times this winter.. even though I know they will suck with the track being 1950ft

Tuning in for your results.

I won't be able to do it unless I change my CATs(FI), probably won't but still interested non the less.

Ultimate Z1 Header thread

It doesn't sound that bad to me however I don't think a single exit exhaust would ever be an option for me.

Can't wait for your results. I've always wanted headers but have been talked down from getting them so many times here. Maybe the gains will be significant enough for me to take the leap. Your thread will be important for a lot of us on the fence.

But you'll have to sell you FIRHC's and buy Z1 DE cats . Reason I will probably pass on these ,

I'll be doing this. Buying the headers/test pipes then selling my f.i. hfc ... op and i got similar mods so his final numbers would be ball park to where I wanna be.
