I recently filled up my car with the engine running. The following day the service engine soon light came on and stayed on. The car is running fine no issues and nothing seems to be different. I brought the car to autozone and the service code I got was U0164 CAN COMM CIRCUIT. Is this something i need to have fixed immediately or can I drive for a while. Any help would be great

 

Keep the code written down somewhere so you won't forget it, then disconnect both battery cables from the battery terminals and touch them together for 10 seconds to clear the residual voltage. Reconnect battery cables and start car, if SES light returns then I'd take it in. You might lose your seat memory settings and radio presets, but might get lucky
