Broken clutch bracket

Broken clutch bracket
So I was driving home this morning and noticed something different with my clutch.
As I pull into my garage and turn the engine off something fell from under the dashboard to my feet....I looked down, and this is what I see

I noticed the bracket arm for the spring support broke off.


Took the bracket off and the plan is to repair it:

Never seen this happen before.
btw...I got the OEM spring.

Definitely change it to a lighter spring. It's worth the money and is a pretty significant upgrade over the stronger stock spring:
