Installing rear axles back, answer this?

Installing rear axles back, answer this?

So I plan on doing this, and I am not questioning this procedure, I just really want to know why its done this way. And is this done on any car when re-installing the axles? When installing the axle back, why do you need to rotate it back 180* from the original marks? as shown in this pdf.

Put a mark on the end of the driveshaft and a
matching mark on the hub as shown in Figure 1.

NOTE: These marks will be used when
reinstalling the driveshaft.

a. Install the driveshaft 180° from the position it
was removed.
• Use the marks you made in step 1.
