Is this a good clutch

Hi I recent needed to change my clutch and fly wheel and have been looking to order parts offline to save some more money and I have stumbled upon this brand ACS performance. Has anyone here heard of them? They offer the clutch, flywheel, slave, and bearings for $450. Does anyone know a better brand with the same package as this for same price? I've never modded or changed anything in my car

I cringe every time I see posts that are EBay related...here is this though

South Bend combo $775 shipped

CSC Kits

Its not $450, but well worth the price.

I have a Soutbend clutch and billet steel flywheel. It's worked just fine for almost 60K miles now. My only regret is that I got the Stage 3 because I had FI plans and wanted something adequate for the torque. The clutch itself isn't bad, but the pedal is as stiff as a 16 year old at a titty bar. Engagement is OK. A stage 1 or 2 would have been adequate now that I've scrapped turbo plans for this car. The stage 3 is overkill on a stock or barely modified daily driver.

yea the south bends look great definitely getting a stage 2. This is my situation. My clutch and flywheel went out. The dealer wants to replace everything for $900 and service for $500. I know this is completely absurd for stock parts so if thats the case i rather upgrade by ordering off the internet. i wish i knew a good mechanic in NY that will help me out. My mechanic said he'd do it at 550-600 i said thats crazy i should just go to the dealer. Can anyone help?

Post asking for recommendations in the Northeast regional forum. $500-600 is a fair price for labor for a clutch/flywheel job. Be sure to buy the HD CSC so that it doesn't go out later.

Don't forget to replace the MC too. You may regret it later.
