2009 Automatic Tranny issue

Hey guys,
I have searched this website and the web itself for the issue I am having but haven't really found anything.
Last night while driving home(09 Journey Sedan RWD) my transmission started upshifting and downshifting at odd times and at one point felt like a harsh bump during a downshift. Also the car did not want to accelerate in any gear at 2 1/4 RPM's or higher. It stalled at a stop sign and I had to use manual mode to ensure I would upshift before 2 1/4 RPM's. Conditions were 5 degrees outside and I had just under a quarter tank of gas.

I know this transmission can have harsh downshifts once in awhile but I never experienced this situation before. Bought the car new and it has 67k miles on it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

I thought the 7S A/T fluid is life time? I understand still servicing the fluid itself just to be comfortable with where the fluid stands. Although OP didn't say if it was the 7S A/T.
