Infiniti G37s rwd awd system?

Hello!

I need to get some correct information about the rwd and awd system.

I have been looking at a Infiniti G37s 2008 model. Is it only rwd on the 2008 ?
Or does it have some kind of system?. For example if one tier starts to slip then all four tiers starts to help? Or did the 4wd only come with the 2009-->

Where you able to choose some kind of 4 wheels option with the 2008 model?

I can not opt for a 2009:er since Infiniti cars are only import where I live and they are hard to find. If the 2008 does not have som kind off 4wd system then I have to pass since I have winter 6 months a year with a lot off snow

Thanks in advance!

from everything i can find, the 2008 g37 coupe was RWD only. the all-wheel-drive g37x did not start until 2009. can you wait until 2015 calendar year to import a 2009 model? if not, you may need to look elsewhere if you really need awd in a 2008 model year. lots of choices there so have fun searching.

If you have "a lot" of snow, I'm not sure a Infiniti G coupe is even for you. The ground clearance would be a hinderance to an area with lots of snow.

Exactly; the AWD is really for moderate traction challanges, not to emulate a Jeep...

2008 sedan comes in AWD, other wise known as the G35x (basically the same visually as the G37 sedan)

Side-to-side wheel track and interior width is about an inch wider in the coupe vs. the sedan. Clearance aside, my 2010 X coupe with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's did damn good in the N.E. US last winter. The rear wheel biased AWD is great in this car. I'm sure the 35X is equally effective.

The OP seems more interested in a 2008 model that has AWD, than a coupe in particular. If he likes the looks of the G37, needs the car to be a 2008 model for a reasonable price, and needs AWD to make the car drivable, it doesn't seem to crazy to throw out the sedan as an option.
