I don't know what's going on with my car but when i am going 10 mph, the rpm is at 2000 rpm sometimes and when i touch the pedal, it jumps to 3000 easily. What's also weird is that every time when I brake, the rmp goes up to 2000 followed by finally going back down... of course the car feels weird too while this is all happening.

It's even worst when going down hill as I am braking or in traffic.

Only minor performance mod is R2C intakes.

No check engine light or anything.

Any ideas?

Would you have an automatic transmission and would you be in DS mode?

 

Could be the rev matching...but more likely dirty throttle bodies. They can cause weird rpm related issues.

 

AT and NOT in DS mode.

 

Get the latest software update for your transmission at the dealer , ECU AND TCM it'll solve your problem, I got mine done right away as when i was buying the G i read for days and days

 

Did your G do the same thing?
