Question 2013 Engine to 2008 G37.. will it work>?

I am trying to get a 100% accurate answer before I buy this 2013 Engine for my 2008 G37... I need to know if the wiring harness and plug is all same...

Please don't say yes unless 100% sure... I really don't want to have to send it back.

Thanks in advance for help!

What exactly are you buying? A short block or long block will be the same. Are you buying more than those parts? If so why?

I had a of people say it will work no problem but no one seemed to be 100% sure.

The actual engine is the same......Any differences would be in the sensors & wire harness. But if you have your 08 intact you can swap over those.

What he said. It will be pretty damn easy to see any differences in electrical connectors when you have the original engine out. Just compare the two. If anything is different, swap that part off of the old engine onto the new.

Yes ... this is what I will do. I just hope they are interchangeable. I have my intact 08 motor so we should be all good.

Let me ask you this.. I have Fast intentions cat back exhaust and am considering buying the FI long tube headers to delete the cats and stillen gen 3 intakes and eventually get tuned.

Will it be safe to run the headers with no tune?

It will be "safe" but there will not be much in term of gains until you get the tune.

That's probably why they're parting it out. Make more $$ selling parts than the whole thing and/or cost of repairs and value post repair.
