Clutch slave cylinder

I know every one knows that dealerships always try to rip you off, but I would like to share my experience I had today with Infiniti on Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). My 2011 G37S 6MT broke down on the way back from Vegas, and had to get it towed from Wickenberg to the dealership. My clutch slave cylinder broke and I guess this happens to a lot of G37. I was going 70 mph on the freeway and when I stepped on my clutch to downshift to pass a car, my clutch just dropped all the way down to the floor and wouldn't disengage the gear. My clutch had no pressure at all and it was pretty much dangling loose. I had no problem keep on going though. I had to pull into a gas station and stall the car.

I told the dealers exactly what was wrong with it. Two hours later I got a call back from the dealership and they said my clutch is worn out because of my driving style (my car only has 29k miles), and it's gonna cost $3200 for a clutch and $250 to do a fluid flush. I was so upset because I knew they were bull****ting. I went to the dealership and asked the dealer to say what was wrong with my car again on video so I can use it as evidence when I sue them, but they refused to.

They did "another inspection" and found out that nothing is wrong with the clutch and it was the slave cylinder as I said. Everything is going to be covered by warranty at no cost. Most of you guys probably know about cars more than I do, but just be careful with "stealerships". Thanks for reading my rant haha

Not all dealerships!

I've purchased two Infiniti's from the same dealer here in NJ.

Never had the experience you are describing.

Their parts dept. are very close on price on tires, batteries, and wipers as compared to others and I get a discount so I purchase there.
When you spend money at a dealer for parts and service you tend to get treated accordingly when s#it happens.

BTW they replaced the CSC under warranty on my previous 06 G35
