Do these cars' engines still have issues with burning oil?

I have a 08 and and I noticed some oils burn more than others. I thought I had a problem but tried different oils first before dealing with the dealership headache. Tried about 7 oil brands and the only one that doesn't burn a lot with my driving style and abuse is Motul. So I have been using that for the last 2 years with zero issues.

I know this is an old thread but I have a 2013 sedan (Bought it used in July with 18,000 miles on it and now it has 32,000) and I have to add a quart in between oil changes. I use synthetic oil and was changing my oil every 3,500 milles. I guess I'm going to start changing it at 3,000 miles now.

I've never burned oil between the 06 revup, 08 and 09 when they were stock. 06 revup DE started burning a little after I've modded the crap out of it. 08 and 09 HR engine doesn't seem to burn even when modded.

I have a '08 with 90k miles, I have used synthetic since 16k miles (when I took ownership) and change the oil between 3500 and 5000 miles .... don't burn/loose a drop!

My 2010 sedan burns a little less than half a quart every 5k miles, I'm at 66k miles now and have been using pennzoil platinum synthetic and purolator pure one filters since I got it at 30k.

Impressive with the oil consumption at 185K miles. My consumption above was from a few road trips that involved some sustained revving of the engine (3-5K rpm) on the twisty backroads. I was about 5mm low when I returned from the trip. Similar past road trips had minimal if any oil consumption.
Compared to my old camaro which needed a quart every 300-400 miles, I can live with a pint every 3K

I just did an oil change on my '13 X sedan with 7500 miles between changes.
No oil burn. Not surprised because I check it every other gas-up and it hasn't moved more than a mm. I was ready for the burn, but nothing yet. I have 17K on the OD now.
