Stock Y-pipe?
Stock Y-pipe?
Is the restriction on the stock Y-pipe bad? Im thinking about buying the Megan axle back exhaust along with the Megan Y-pipe. Do you think the Y pipes will make a lot of difference? Cause if not, I don't wanna waste my money.
I've taken the stock y-pipe off when installing test pipes. I really don't see too much restriction. Of course an aftermarket y-pipe should flow better if it has a larger diameter. The real problem is the cats in front of the y-pipe.
The megan y pipe has has a 3 in outlet and the stock mid pipe has a 2.5 in inlet or smaller. Is that a problem? your going from air flow from 3 in to 2. something in. I ordered my megan Y pipe but this was a concern for me? Does any one have any feedback on this? I know people have used this set up any issues?
