RJM clutch pedal voids warranty?

so I am about to expire on my basic warranty and wanted to take care of a few obvious problems that would be covered on warranty before time is up. long story short when getting the car back I realized my cruise control did not work. I automatically assumed it had to be the dealerships fault since I could swear it worked before. I took the car back and they called me the next day and said my car is ready again and that they just had to adjust my clutch pedal since it was not resting on the cruise switch when the clutch pedal was all the way out. all I could think was duh! why didn't I think of that? and was hoping they were not going to ask me if the pedal was stock. but to my surprise they never did. they either assumed it was stock or didn't care. so if anybody ever worries about taking their G to the dealership under warranty for a clutch related reason while having the RJM install rest assured there is hope for you.

by the way they loaned me the Q50. that automatic tranny felt good and the interior technology was dope!

Since the adjustment for the switch in in the switch mounting itself and not the pedal, they likely didn't notice it because it looks very OEM at a glance. Did you have the CMC replaced? It's very possible that if they'd seen the RJM they'd not have replaced a CMC under warranty. Understandably IMO.

I have not had the CSC replaced but I am about out of basic and ive heard that they do not cover that on the powertrain. but my CSC seems fine. I did bleed the clutch fluid on my last oil change at 40k. man that fluid was very black, hope that saved me. but yeah I see what your saying, but you never know....

pretty much known for going bad. Your clutch pedal will go straight to the floor.

^ What he said. When you said it came back and the switch was out of adjustment I thought maybe you'd gotten the master cylinder replaced. I don't know of any other work that should take the clutch switch out of adjustment other than replacing the pedal assembly. Perhaps it's possible that you never adjusted it correctly when you did the RJM install and just never noticed until now.

I've had my clutch replaced twice because of chattering when taking off and my transmission replaced once because of third gear syncros, all under warranty. Both times I had the RJM pedal and the dealership said nothing about it.

I had a Q50 loaner for a couple of days.
damn it made me feel like my G37 was a POS.
It was extremely nice. the transmission and engine although the same felt much better and I liked the ability to make the steering very tight how I prefer it.
I loved the technology and interior as well.
All the camera's and sensors. freaking nice

I know for a fact its because I didn't adjust it properly or had it good but when I did my fine tunning with the **** maybe lost full contact. feel pretty dumb but still cool they didn't say anything.
