Transmission Programming after ITB-027D

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you who had the most recent TCU/ECU reprogramming done noticed any issues post-update.

I notice that after a quick "learning" phase, and probably because my commute involves a lot of 25-40 mph cruising, that the tranny now top gear hunts, and that a lot of the instant throttle response that was immediate after the reprogramming has been dulled.

Is this due to the ECU trying to "learn" how I drive? I thought the stock programming of the new software was awesome. It's not all bad, though. The jerking downshifts are still gone. It just feels like the car has been tuned way down.

I spoke to a tech today who said there's nothing they can do, and didn't seem to understand what I meant by re-setting the programming. Is there a way for the dealers/Consult III to restore the factory default settings and turn off the learning mode? Or do I just need to try and drive aggressively for a while?

I noticed the same with my car. The first week or so after the flash it was perfect. After that, not so much.

I notice it gets worse if the car sits for a while, like it "forgets" the programming and has to start over.

I notice it gets better if you really drive the car like its meant to be. Oddly enough, a couple pedal to the floor blasts off a stop light seem to wake it up quite a bit, as does tooling around in DS for a while.

While I think its the whole "learning" thing thats doing it, it seems to respond better to learning more aggressive driving rather than being seemingly stuck on granny going.
