Engine choking at acceleration after 2k RPM
Hi guys,
I have a 2008 g37s coupe 6MT, recently, the engine started choking at acceleration, above 2000RPM, as if it wasn't getting enough gas or air, I thought the problem was dirty throttle bodies, I just cleaned them, but didn't help. I think it is the mass airflow sensors maybe, can someone help me please? I'm going crazy...

If you are near me in west palm beach I can read the code for free for you. Otherwise, you need to connect an adapter to your OBDII and pull the code with a scan tool. Any mechanic should be able to read the codes for you too, some won't charge just to read the codes, some will.
Unfortunately, I am very far, I'm in Canada, but thanks. Last week my serpentine belt started screaming, it needs a change, do you think there is a connection between that and what is happening now?
Might be too late now, but often auto parts stores have code readers.
BTW, if your belt is "screaming" it's not usually a belt issue - it's an issue with one of items connected to the belt. This could be something like your alternator seizing, which means your battery isn't charging, which would lead to odd behavior in the car, and eventually a dead battery.
(FWIW, I had a similar situation in another car with the throttle not going above 2000 rpm and it ended up being the throttle position sensor in the throttle body)
The above is just speculation but at this point it sounds like you'll need a tow anyway.

Two days ago, engine was harder to start, now doesn't even start, it tries but it is like no fuel in tank, at this point I think it is the fuel pump, anyways, I have to tow it to the dealer now as you said.
