Engine choking at acceleration after 2k RPM
I brought the car to the dealer this morning, they called me, they don't know what is problem, the noise that I thought was the serpentine belt, they say it is not, that the noise is coming from the engine, How come the engine can make a high scratching noise?! The check engine light is off now, they want 600$ to dismount the engine to know where the problem is and we are not even counting the repare cost...... What should I do, please help me....
I called a towing guy this morning, he said this is the alternator, he charged my batterie and the car worked, can it be the alternator which is the cause of all this, and the dealer just wants to make me pay extra, can the alternator cause that noise
Any moving part can make just about any noise so it could be. With your car running you should be around 14 volts at the battery. Get a volt meter and check.
Yo your car went into limp mode. theres a ton of reasons for that. For one cleaning the mafs and throttle bodys can cause limp mode. If the electrical system gets to low it will send the car into limp mode. Biggest issues with our cars are... Throttlebodies wigg out which means youll have to do a throttlebody relearn... Next is security keys. If your car looses reception of your fob it can throw it into limp mode. My best advice for you is to purchase uprev. Its a tuning system so you can read and clear codes. also datalog things like voltage etc etc
I cleaned hers too but it didnt work. go to ebay and buy the obd2 torque to connect it with your laptop is only like $30-$40. And i bet the code is throwing is P2004. look it up on the internet.
