check engine light

check engine light

Hey guys recently my check engine light came on i found two codes P0171 and p2A03. Any idea.

For P0171 Check for intakes air leak, clean air filter, and clean the Sensors. Could be from CAI if you have some. The second p2A03 sensor comes on if you have test pipes and/or high flow cats, also come on if catalytic are bad. if is because of test pipes you're going to need defoulers. Then reset your ECU. You should be good to go

Thanks a lot i will try those..but i dont have any test pipe .everything is stock

Then you might want to check your catalytic converter for any holes or maybe they just need to be replaced? how many miles do you have on them?

sounds like a good excuse to get hfcs, since they are probably cheaper than factory cats. get some de foulers while you are at it
