I use mine on occasion...mostly for downshifting earlier than the trans 'normally' would.

I must admit - the rev-matching on my old '06 350zr seemed a bit more 'matched'. But overall - no complaints....

I definitely use and notice the difference with DS mode, but even then I don't use the paddles or the actual shifter. I just let it do it's thing. I could see it coming in handy when wanting to pass someone on the highway though.

I might get the paddles but I am used to there being no lag so can you explain this and how to do it if able?

Is there a longer lag in shifting gears with the "slappy paddles" then using the shifter in DS mode with the 7AT? I'm thinking about this being a future expense.

It's possible that the tune may rectify the issue but I can't say for certain. Although... I could try to test some things out tomorrow depending on traffic conditions. I notice a lag when I "manually" shift using the paddles, I haven't been using the stick as of late except for the Q50 to day. I'll try and get some better feedback and circle back tomorrow or the next day.

Really I have no lag time difference, I use manual mode all the time?

I definitely use them on the highway when slow people **** me off, blip blip down to 4th and see ya.. they work alright.

Hoping to get some relief from a tune potentially in the future.
I agree : 2xblip and I'm flying...
