G37 clutch

hey guys need your help i have a 2009 g37s coupe with only 21k and i need a clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and throw out bearing replaced, i brought the car to the dealer back in april when i had factory warrenty because i had a issue with my pedal staying to the ground a bunch of times and loosing pressure and also got a huge odor of burning clutch and i mentioned it could be the slave cylinder with that said all they did was bleed my line and change to gtr fluid, now my warranty is up and i bring the car back for the same issue and they want 3100$ for the job, i tried telling them it burned faster then it should have if it was burning and overheating as they stated in the april visit but they keep telling me its not under warranty and i know this but said there is another issue if its burning my clutch. Is there anything i can do to get it covered since they never fixed the problem? I've contacted inifinti and still no help. Also what would you recommend for a replacement clutch and flywheel

I have the infamous clutch sticking problem also if you go on Google and research there's is thousands of people experiencing the same problem. I'm looking at a kit from southbend South Bend Complete DXD 6 Puck Clutch & Flywheel Package*for 1500 from z speed performance seems to have everything included to stop this problem I hope this helps and trying to get something out of the dealer ship even when its their fault is like trying to squeeze water from a rock

I believe the master/slave and clutch components are not covered under warranty anyways as they are wear and tear items. However, there have been a few members who have dealers that actually care and have helped out and fixed some of these under warranty but that is a long shot.

I replaced my whole clutch kit with the following:
-South Bend Stage 1 "Quiet Disk" Clutch
-South Bend DXD Black Race Flywheel
-ZSpeed HD CSC
-New OEM Master Cylinder

This was the most I've ever spent on a car for anything but a much needed upgrade. I'm not sure why Infiniti can't get their 6MTs in-line with other companies. My G37 is the hardest to drive and nowhere near as smooth or linear as any other car I've driven. Considering my last manual car was an S2000, the Infiniti/Nissan clutch system is pure crap compared to that. I recently took a short drive in my friend's 2013 Subaru WRX STI and that was so buttery smooth. I even teared up a bit...

How do you like the southbend parts and the z speed hd? I'm going 6 puck because I have plans on forced induction so I will need a little stronger kick

I had mine covered under warranty with no problems. From what I understand, the CSC isn't really considered a wear item so it's covered.

Just to be clear, the CSC will be covered under your basic 4 yr warranty, but not the power train (or not usually, unless your dealer go to bat for you).

Love mine so far and it makes driving pretty enjoyable now. There is still some clutch chatter at low rpms but it doesn't bother me.
