Anyone experience this knocking sound?

Hey guys. I have had this knocking sound coming from my G for a little while now and i'm getting worried. It mainly comes from the driver side wheel well area. I began worrying after hearing it on another g with people commenting about rod knock. It's weird because I was told rod knock should get louder when you drive. The sound goes away as soon as I put it in drive, but comes back in park or neutral. The noise began a while back after I lowered my G and scraped my tanabe y-pipe mesh area up. I plan to try and put my stock y-pipe back to see if the sound goes away. Curious to see if anyone else has experienced this on their G. I did a little searching and found VQ motors with rod knock, but the sound my G is making sounds a bit different.

Heres are videos of the knocking noise.

(I put the it in drive at 0:12 then to neutral + ebrake by 0:14)

This is a pic of the y-pipe mesh area. (if that means anything)

At first I was thinking exhaust leak at the mesh, but after hearing the second video.. heres what i would do.. let everything cool down and jack up the front end, it sounds like something was knocked lose underneath--but not rod knock. I would do a shake down underneath around the exhaust and anything elese in that area. Could be a heat shield as well. Keep us updated.
