Transmission scraped?

Hey guys.. So, I have scraped bottom of a car maybe twice or thrice in my life and today I scraped it at my underground parking at work which is under construction. Before the slope starts they have these wooden planks to guide over gravel.. My front end dips to go down the slope, rear still straight.. And I hear this metal scrape. My shifter moves up and down a tad bit and I could feel the scrape right on the shift **** (6MT). Am just horrified now.. Has this ever happened to anyone? Did it damage the trannny.. Like does it sound like it would have? Am not sure how it can go up and down when it fixed.
I did a quick check beneath the car and everything seems intact.
Please help.. Thanks

There is a brace the rear of the tranny attaches to by the ****. I doubt you scraped the tranny and more likely the brace/exhaust I'm that area, but even that would be pretty hard to scrape.

If you do a thorough look under the car with a flashlight do you see any damage or scrape marks? If so, where are the marks and how long are they? Has your car been lowered?

Pretty sure you scraped your brace.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Yeah I did a quick sweep underneath and nothing seems to be even "touched". The gear **** movement scared the **** out of me as that has never happened to me before.
I am not lowered at the moment..
With further research I think I did scrape the brace.. Pretty sure nothing would have happened in regards to damages if that is the case.

You probably just flexed the chassis a little bit and caused that small movement.
