Is my clutch going out ??
If I'm in second gear or 3rd or 4th or 5th and cruising and I step on the gas the Rpm's go up about 2k then drop back down and car grabs and takes off. But If I floor it starting in first gear and go through the gears it doesn't slip at all. What do you guys think It is

Jdubg37,
My bad, I read your OP wrong. Might still be a slipping clutch. Either that or pressure plate has lost some of its 'pressure'. I think there might be some other threads on here on how to test for a slipping clutch. This happen suddenly or over time? What's your driving style, are you aggressive with it, slipping alot at take offs? Miles on the car?
Generally, it seems like 40-60K is about what these are good for. Albeit, some get much more, 80-100K, but all depends how you drive it.
